Design? I don’t know what I’m doing

After watching my friend start his design project through Adobe XD, it really intrigued me to try it out myself and learn more about UI/UX design. Recently, I started a small project to test my skills in this new application after completing the provided tutorial. What I came up with was an extremely rough design of an online mart that sells succulents. Planning to add more layers to it as I learn more about the software and explore its tools.

So far, I’ve only created three artboards which string together towards selecting one of the plants and directing it to the payment page. Planning to expand it more to the final confirmation payment page with detailed transitions and animations in the future. HOPE ALL WILL GO WELL AND I WILL NOT GET LAZY.

Adobe XD is truly an amazing piece of software. Personally, I don’t consider myself a very creative person, but through this program, I was still able to create something I found aesthetically pleasing. Hopefully, this can lead me to narrow down my list of what I want to do in the future 😫. Design wasn’t something I ever considered as a career path as I never saw myself as an artist. But XD might just be something I can further my skills that can open up more avenues for me in the future ‾\_(ツ)_/‾.

First blog article I’ve ever written, so it might be a little rusty. Let’s hope I get more used to this and keep this a habit to document my ventures towards learning more things and out of my identity crisis mindset xD. Thanks for coming to my TedTalk.
